A new vampire series from a major publisher is about to get its own book.
Vampire: The Masquerade, a popular tabletop role-playing game, will get a standalone book from Simon & Schuster starting in April, publisher Orbit Books announced Tuesday.
The publisher also revealed the upcoming “Vampire Book of the Month” will be based on a character named Vulture, a vampire who has been immortalized by the game’s “Vulture” character trait.
Vulture, who will debut in April 2017, will have his own book, and the Vulture Book of The Month will be inspired by the character, the publisher said.
The Vulture book will also feature his favorite spots and stories, including the town of Blood, which he is obsessed with and can only find in the Vultures eyes.
